On 25th October 2025 Jamaica was hit with one of the most powerful Atlantic #hurricanes on record being one of the strongest to have ever hit Jamaica. Like many others back home in Jamaica Yvonne’s home was struck and damaged. During the creation of Yvonne’s album for 2026 release Yvonne Curtis and her producer stopped and decided that they had to do a completely new song release for Jamaica. They decided that the song was to be uplifting and not to focus on grim video or shots of the devastation, instead the objective was to lift the spirits of their fellow Jamaicans with happiness and love. The idea was to press cd singles and to donate 50% of the cd sales to those who suffered under the disaster.

It’s finally here, the song is a global hit, it tells the story of Yvonne’s finding love on her first date in Jamaica to which she references Jamaica inadvertently being her home and as being her ‘baby’. The album will follow later in the summer/autumn of this year 2026.

From the new coming album, "Based on ‘Mission Impossible’, Dee Shy expresses a cool approach with confidence. She’s on a mission to do what is right. She’s committed with a sense of duty with powerful punchlines whilst addressing matters that really matter in society. Reggae & Hip Hop is the flavour; Rap is sauce ‘Bun Dem’ is the name of the dish. ‘Bun Dem’ means to burn them which is a common Jamaican Patois statement used when one dislikes or expresses disapproval of one or many. Dee Shy sends a clear message of awareness telling her listeners that the ‘whole world is in limbo’ and for those who are causing it, we simply need to ‘Bun Dem."

The long-awaited album by Birmingham’s top Jazz, Soul, Afro-Funk band ‘Funk Division’ will be out this summer. The rhythms are contagious, the drums; super heavy and the vocals are spectacular with 2 songs in the native Zimbabwean tongue. Most of the songs were written by Mark Anthony with one written by the late Joyce Sims. The production skills of Mark Anthony and Derek King is faultless, polished and dancefloor ready. Peter Coxx brings a warm tone, infectious vibes and a soulful sound to the stage. The Singer, songwriter and Guitarist started his music career at an early age of nine, going on to take part in many competitions such Mr. Coleridge and Parry, Mr.Secondary School and winning them. He was also awarded two silver medals at Nifca for for his soulful performances of his original singles.

Peter has played alongside some of the best musicians in Barbados such as Victor Linton Peter continues to release new original music bringing those constant hits and soulful vibes.
